. Sir Lancelot had many different beginnings but they all start with him being born in France. Then, in the book "Sir Lancelot The Great", Sir Lancelot asked his father if he could join the knights of the round table. So he went and was worried about if his armor wasn't shiny enough and he went through to the castle shining his armor. But while he was heading there he went through a tournament that he didn't even know he was in, and King Arthur asked him to join the knights of the round table. But in the book "Young Lancelot", Lancelot's family got killed and the Lady of the Lake took him. So the Lady of the Lake trained him and one day Lancelot left to join the knights of the round table. Afterwords, in all of the books, it talked about Sir Lancelot go and do great adventures. Like one of his great adventures was when one day Lancelot was taking a nap and two knights of the round table got captured by the recreant knight Sir Turquin. While Lancelot was asleep four queens including Morgan Le fay captured him and told Lancelot he will let him free if he married one of them. But Lancelot refused and said he was only loyal to Queen Guineviere. Then one day a maiden said that if you save my brother from the recreant knight Sir Turquin in most of the books but in the book "King Arthur The Legends of Camelot" a maiden asked him to help her father in a tournament for France. But after he finished helping her father Lancelot runs into Sir Turquin. So they fight for a whole day and after a while Sir Turquin said that as long as you did not kill my brother I will let everyone go. But Lancelot did kill his brother so they fought till Lancelot did the final blow. So then he freed the knights. Then went to the giants castle. Lancelot in one story tricked the giants into falling off the cliff. In another story Lancelot chopped their legs off and cut the giant king's head off. Then on the way home Lancelot came across a damsel in distress. She wanted Lancelot to go and save her brother, Melyot, from a sickness. The only way to save him was to get a cloth from a church. When he arrived a group of recreant knights were guarding a lady in black. When Lancelot first went in he got overwhelmed and went back out. But on the second try he went through with no trouble because he thought of poor Melyot, dying of sickness. When he defeated all of the recreant knights he noticed that he was tricked. Then the Lady of the Lake appeared and said that Lancelot has a heart as tough as diamonds but a tender one, too. He then got the cloth and headed back to save Melyot. In a few months later he met this lady Elaine in a tournament and the knights of the round table saw Sir Lancelot supporting another team. When Sir Lancelot got back to the castle queen Guinevere criticized Sir Lancelot supporting another team. Lancelot was so grief stricken that he ran away and into the forest. He lived in the forest for months and starving himself to death he one day passed out on a field were Elaine finds him. Elaine went to get the Holy Grail to save Lancelots life. When she got Lancelot to drink from the Holy Grail Lancelot felt so peaceful that in a few months he married Elain and moved to the joyous isles. After a few months time they had a son named Galahad and then Lancelot one day heard about a tournament and he left Elain and Galahad to join the knights of the round table again. When he left Elaine was so upset she killed her self. Lancelot was very upset about this he wept for days about her death. Then a few months later Queen Guinevere got captured by Sir Meliagrance and Lancelot came to save her.He won got in the castle easily and king Arthur said that Sir Meliagrance's life will be determined by a tournament in a few days. Sir Meliagrance then tricked Lancelot into getting trapped in his dungeon. But one day a maiden let him go and Lancelot raced to the tournament and beat Sir Meliagrance. Queen Guinevere one day told Lancelot that she loves him and that they should leave here and go somewhere else. She said they should meet in here room at midnight. But queen Guinevere's son Mordred and his loyal friend Agravin found out about this and told King Arthur. Then that night when Lancelot came to see Guinevere, he got caught by Mordred. Lancelot left Guinvere and went to the Joyous isles and made his own army to face king Arthur. Then Sir Bors told Lancelot that he has to go save Queen Guinevere from her execution. Lancelot then brings Guinevere to the forest and says to wait till this war is over. Then Lancelot heads to France where King Arthur's army awaits to destroy Lancelot's army. Then King Arthur's army found out about Mordred taking over Camelot and left.

Lancelot

Many years ago as story tellers would say, there lived a great King called Arthur. In France King Ban's kingdom was being attack by another king. King Ban had hoped that King Arthur would lend some assistance however King Arthur could not spare any knights. King Ban, his wife and his son Lancelot left their kingdom to plead for assistance in person. King Ban told his knights to keep his leaving or else the enemies would double the efforts. Beside a nearby hill top King Ban went to check upon his Kingdom, instead of finding it alive he found it burning. His wife seeing his riderless horse, she looked around and found him dead, wailing so loudly she died of despair. Nearby Niniane, The Lady of The Lake heard these wails and came, she took Lancelot and wrapped him in her cloth to be taken to her home. She soon gave him to a nun who was to treat him as a son. Lancelot soon grew handsome and brave, Niniane hired the best of tutors to teach him to be a gentleman and her best knights to teach him to fight like a true knight. Not long after Lancelot had overcome all of her knights and was a true gentleman. Soon the news of King Arthur's amazing achievements reached Lancelot's ears. He pleaded with Niniane to let him go and finally she gave in. She gave him silver armor and a spear with a tip that never dulls and a silver sword. Before he left she said with tears that a knight should have a heart of diamond and a tender heart to help all, however Lancelot just told her that he wanted a heart of all diamond. When arriving at Camelot, King Arthur asked Lancelot for his name but, he didn't know so he was knighted as Knight of the Lake. To prove his worth he asked for the most difficult task like killing two giants that held some fair maidens captive. Quests like these always came to him because he was known as the best knight. Soon he learned of a princess being boiled because of her beauty when he saved her she led him back to her father where he was begged to represent them in a tournament of the knights. In the tournaments he saw many of King Arthur's knights, in the end all of the knights knew who the mysterious knight was because only one person could fight so well. Afterward he was begged to come home except he had one more task, on his way into the forest he found a girl crying because her brother was dying and the only way to save the brave knight was to bring him a piece of cloth from a church except the church was very dangerous. In the church Lancelot saw a lot of recreant except that when he hit them the sword only dissolved through, however the other knights could hit him as hard as rock. He fought on and on until he was nearly dead. He then remembered the girl crying, forgetting hatred he fought through remembering the girl and caring the recreant knights could do no damage to him but, he could. At the end only Lancelot and a hooded figure remained. The hooded figure removed the cloak and Lancelot saw that it was the Lady of the Lake, she said that Lancelot now had a tender heart along with a diamond hard knight heart. However the brave knight's illness was true, so they cut off some of the cloth and healed the wounded brave knight. At that time the Lady of the lake announced that his true name was to be Lancelot of the Lake son of King Ban. Lancelot soon noticed that Queen Guinevere was missing so he went up to her room to see her crying, after hearing that Lancelot wore the colors of another woman she banished him. Loving Queen Guinevere so much he jumped out of the window, afraid of seeing Lancelot's dead body she looked however Lancelot was nowhere to be found. However Lancelot was to be seen, he ran and ran, when he saw people he ran and hid. One day on a hunting trip King Arthur found an excuse to go away to look for Lancelot, soon he was attacked by a bull but, was saved by Lancelot however he didn't look like himself. Once he saw King Arthur he ran, nearly dead from the loss of blood he fell down, nearby Lady Elaine who was looking for a patch of soft grass with her fair maidens when she saw him she knew exactly who he was. Using her family's most prized secret, The Holy Grail, she healed Lancelot. As she cared for him his love for her grew until the point when he was fully healed and asked to marry Lady Elaine. Her father was enthusiastic and gave them a castle as a present. Soon after they had a baby, and Lady Elaine told Lancelot to conquer his fears and invite King Arthur and Queen Guinevere. After meeting Arthur asked him what the baby's name was and he said Galahad which means bringer of peace and Arthur told him that peace had already brought them together again.

Sir Lancelot was raised by the Lady of du Lake. He was the fairest knight in all the kingdom. He won many competions and proved his honor. Queen Guinevere who was married to King Arthur, named Lancelot her favorite knight. He defended her honor and protected her from any danger that may come her way. King Arthur also loved and respected Lancelot, he was the most favored knight of the round table. Lancelot fought his way through any knight that dare to challenge him. He proved to be the very best. Queen Guinevere and Lancelot spent much time together. Slowly the two fell deeply into a pit of love. Lancelot didn't want to betray King Arthur, but loved Guinevere with all his heart. The two tried to not acknowledge that they were in love. Never talking in front of others and soon not talking at all. But you know that almost anything can be concurred by defeat except true love. Sir Lancelot was riding around looking for an adventure and found a dark tower. Villagers said that a young princess had been locked up there by an evil sorceress who was jealous of the princess's beauty. Being the brave knight that he was, Lancelot went to rescue the princess. The princess was in a burning pot surrounded by fire. He saved her and she told him her name was Elaine. She was almost as beautiful as Guinevere and had a kind heart. When Lancelot was bringing her back to Elaine's her town he slayed a dragon guarding the village. They had celebrations at her town for him and Lancelot stayed for a few months but then decided to go back to Camelot. Before Lancelot rode back to Camelot, Elaine tied a scarf bearing her colors around his arm. When Lancelot returned Queen Guinevere saw this and could not believe her eyes. Guinevere banished him from the kingdom, out of pure jealousy for the lucky women. Arthur was so hurt he ran into the woods to search for him but Lancelot ran away when he was caught. Many years passed and Lancelot lived in the woods, he ate very little and drank out of the stream. King Arthur sent many search parties looking for him but they could never locate him. Once the men were with in a few feet of Lancelot he ran as fast as he could to get away. While running he cut himself on a branch and began to bleed to death. He layed down in a peacful clearing and layed there to die. A group of women including Elaine found Lancelot. She went running up to Lancelot and called for help. She carried him back into her castle. She remembered that she had once loved a man named Lancelot, and this man reminded her a lot of him. Elaine decided that it must have been Lancelot and she used her family's most sacred and mystical secret: the Holy Grail. She continued to nurse Lancelot back to full health and he became stronger and stronger, and so did his love for Elaine. In a few years time the two got married and had a baby named Galahad, which means bringer of peace. The had a castle on their own island and lived happily ever after.
